Description
This Caterpillar 3516C diesel generator set (Engine S/N SBJ01468, Generator S/N G5Z01346) is a heavy-duty standby power system built in 2012 and configured as a UL 2200 listed, 60 Hz / 1800 RPM package. The unit is powered by a Caterpillar 3516C V16 turbocharged and aftercooled diesel engine with ADEM3 electronic governing and EMCP 4.2 digital controls, and includes a radiator cooling system, jacket water heater with pump, battery charging system, and main breaker output. This unit is being flashed and retagged to 2,000 kW (2 MW) standby at 480V, while the original factory dataplate reflects a 1,750 kW rating. Emissions configuration is EPA stationary emergency (constant speed), making this generator well suited for data centers, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, and other mission-critical standby power applications requiring large-capacity, reliable backup generation.
