We offer automatic transfer switches, paralleling switchgear, enclosures, fuel tanks, and rental roll-up boxes to support your emergency standby projects. For prime power applications, we provide engine conversions with heavy-duty air cleaners, battery charging alternators, run/idle switches, and battery disconnect switches to ensure reliable performance in demanding environments.

Chris Ricketts

President

Chris has over 15 years of experience in the power generation industry. He began his career after college with MTU/Detroit Diesel as a parts and service representative. Seeking a greater challenge, Chris joined Caterpillar, where he spent the next eight years building and managing their used equipment power systems division.

During this time, he gained extensive knowledge of the various industries that rely on generators and learned how to support each sector.

Richard Ott

VP, Product Support

Richard brings nearly two decades of experience in the power generation industry, with a strong focus on customer service, operations, and product support. Before joining MEG, he spent over 18 years at MacAllister Machinery Co. as a Product Support Representative for their Power Systems Division. In this role, he worked closely with customers across various industries to deliver tailored maintenance solutions, manage key accounts, and drive long-term equipment performance. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Development, Marketing, Sales, and Operations from Ball State University’s Miller College of Business. Ricard leads with a commitment to continuous improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering best-in-class support throughout the equipment lifecycle.

In his free time, he likes making memories with his wife and kids by traveling, going camping, going to the beach, attending dirt track races, attending his kids’ sporting and school events, and fishing. He is also an active member at his church and with the Boy Scouts of America. He dedicates a lot of volunteer time to these organizations.

Cody Herman

Service Manager

Cody grew up on a dairy farm, where he gained hands-on experience working with agricultural machinery from a young age. After high school, he joined the Marine Corps and served for four years. Following his military service, Cody worked for an oil and gas maintenance company, where he refined his mechanical skills and became proficient in maintaining and repairing hydraulic well fracturing systems.

After two years, Cody joined Total Energy Solutions in San Antonio, TX, as a power generation technician. His extensive experience with Caterpillar equipment enabled him to achieve Level 3 factory-trained technician status. In this role, he performed repairs on 3500 series engines, conducted overhauls, completed voltage conversions, replaced generators, swapped breakers, and carried out complex control repairs and upgrades.

Kyle Naomi

Sales Manager

Kyle started in the generator business in 2012, working in the rental space with Aggreko. He then worked for Louisiana CAT, managing petroleum projects on custom packages before moving into outside sales in the oil and gas market. From Louisiana CAT, he entered the independent dealer space, where he sold new, used, and reconditioned engines and generators. He has sold in many applications, ranging from oil and gas, marine, rental, prime power, and standby markets.
He developed a strong understanding of generator sizing, site requirements, and long-term support strategies through his work with major generator distributors. Kyle is known for his customer-first approach and ability to deliver reliable solutions for critical power applications.
