HIPOWER HNI spark-ignited standby generators are designed for stationary commercial, industrial, and mission-critical applications. The HNI series ranges from 30 kW to 1,000 kW and offers natural gas, LP/LPV, and dual-fuel configurations depending on model, along with a wide range of enclosure, control, breaker, and engineered options.

HNI Features & Configurable Options

HIPOWER HNI generators combine standard heavy-duty components with configurable and engineered options for enclosures, controls, electrical systems, breakers, alternators, and application-specific requirements.

Enclosure Configurations

Open skid, Level 1, and Level 2 sound-attenuated enclosure options are available, including aluminum enclosure configurations. Additional options include gravity dampers and motorized air inlet dampers on applicable configurations.

Controls & I/O Expansion

The HNI series uses DSE 7410 controls, with available spare inputs and outputs, DSENet expansion modules, and remote display options on applicable models.

Circuit Breaker Options

Available breaker configurations include LSI, LS/I, LSIG, and thermo-magnetic trip options, along with secondary breakers, shunt trips, auxiliary contacts, and mechanical lugs.

 

Electrical Accessories

Available electrical options include battery warmers, battery chargers, remote E-stops, GFCI receptacles, relay outputs, control-panel heaters, remote annunciators, and enclosure lighting.

Stamford Alternator System

HNI generators use Stamford alternators with Class H insulation. Depending on model and configuration, options include PMG excitation, anti-condensation heaters, RTDs, tropical coating, and alternator upsizing.

Testing & Engineered Options

Extended testing, custom testing, extended warranty options, spring isolators, fluid-containment pans, third-breaker systems, and other engineered configurations are available depending on the application.

2-Year / 2,000-Hour Warranty

HIPOWER HNI generators include a standard limited parts-and-labor warranty of 2 years or 2,000 hours, whichever occurs first.
