2001 Cummins QSV81G 1100kW Natural Gas Generator Set

This 2001 Cummins QSV81G natural gas generator set is a heavy-duty prime power unit designed for continuous-duty industrial applications. Rated 1100 kW prime at 480V, 60 Hz, 1200 RPM, this package is well suited for gas compression, cogeneration, utility support, and large-scale industrial facilities.

The generator is powered by a Cummins QSV81G / Wärtsilä CW-81-G gas engine, producing approximately 1550 horsepower at 1200 RPM. This engine features heat-exchanger cooling, a water-cooled turbocharger and exhaust manifold, electric starting system, electric prelube pump, oil level regulator, gas regulator, crankcase ventilation filter, and explosion relief valves.

Power is produced through a Stamford Newage alternator, oversized for durability and continuous service, rated up to 1300 kW / 1625 kVA, 0.8 power factor, Class H insulation, and double-bearing construction. A freestanding control cabinet with a Cummins PowerCommand Supervisor Panel and HMI touchscreen interface is included.

The unit has approximately 7,393 original operating hours and remains configured as an open industrial generator set. Overall package dimensions are approximately 215” L x 62” W x 96” H with an estimated weight of 36,000 lbs.
