2026 Cummins DFEK QSX15-G9 500kW Diesel Generator Set

This new Cummins DFEK diesel generator set is a heavy-duty 500 kW standby power package built around the proven Cummins QSX15-G9 turbocharged diesel engine, producing approximately 755 horsepower. Designed for commercial, industrial, and mission-critical standby applications, this unit delivers reliable 480V, 3-phase, 60 Hz power at 1800 RPM.

The generator is housed in a weather-protected enclosure and equipped with a Cummins PowerCommand 2.3 digital control panel, providing advanced monitoring, protection, and automatic start/stop capability. A factory-installed 800-amp main circuit breaker, 24-volt electric starting system, jacket water heater, and battery charger are included to support dependable cold-weather and standby operation.

This package is powered by Cummins’ well-known QSX15-G9 diesel engine, widely used in prime and standby power applications for its durability, serviceability, and long-term reliability. The unit ships new and is backed by a standard Cummins factory warranty.

Overall dimensions are approximately 188” L x 121” W x 86” H with an estimated dry weight of 16,879 lbs. An approximately 850-gallon fuel capacity package configuration is noted.
