Description

This new 2026 Cummins DQKAN diesel generator set is an ultra-high-capacity power system engineered for data centers, utilities, energy facilities, and large-scale industrial standby and prime power applications. The unit is rated 2,500 kW and is powered by the legendary Cummins QSK60-G19 NR2 diesel engine, delivering 3,640 horsepower at 1,800 RPM. The generator is configured for 277/480V, three-phase, 60 Hz operation and meets EPA Tier 2 stationary emergency emissions requirements.

This package is built as a UL 2200-listed generator assembly and is housed in a Global Power Components sound-attenuated enclosure designed for high-ambient operation. It is mounted on a massive 3,750-gallon UL-142 sub-base fuel tank with secondary containment, providing extended runtime for critical installations. The system includes a PMG (permanent magnet generator), high-ambient radiator, and alternator heater for enhanced performance and reliability.

Controls are provided through a Cummins PowerCommand 3.3 digital control panel, offering full system monitoring, diagnostics, and paralleling capability. Protection is handled by an AmpSentry UL-listed protective relay. The package also includes an EnerGenius 10-amp battery charger and a multi-voltage coolant heater (208/240/480V).

A main circuit breaker is not included; however, optional 3000-amp or 4000-amp breakers are available at additional cost. This unit is offered new with zero hours and includes Cummins’ standard 2-year factory warranty. Submittals are available upon request.
