2023 CAT 500GC 500kW Diesel Generator Set

New Caterpillar 500 kW standby diesel generator set powered by a CAT C15 turbocharged diesel engine rated 762 HP at 1800 RPM. This unit is configured for 3-phase, 60 Hz, 277/480V operation and is EPA Tier 2 compliant for stationary emergency applications. The generator is housed in a factory sound-attenuated weather enclosure and mounted on an 875-gallon UL-142 listed double-wall sub-base fuel tank with secondary containment, providing extended runtime capability.

This package is UL 2200 listed and equipped with a GCCP 1.2 digital control panel for advanced monitoring, protection, and automatic start/stop functionality. Additional features include an 800-amp main-line circuit breaker, 50 °C-rated radiator, coolant heater, and 10-amp battery charger.
