Description
This 2007 Cummins DQGAB diesel generator set is a large-frame industrial power system designed for utility, data center, and heavy commercial standby applications. The unit is rated 1,500 kW / 1,875 kVA standby at 60 Hz, operating at 1,800 RPM, and produces 277/480V, three-phase wye power. With only 216 original operating hours, this generator represents an excellent opportunity to acquire a very low-hour megawatt-class Cummins package.
The generator is powered by the heavy-duty Cummins QSKTA50-GE V16 diesel engine (Engine S/N: 33169489) and is equipped with a Cummins PowerCommand digital control panel providing full system monitoring, metering, and protective shutdowns. The alternator features Class H insulation, supporting high thermal margins and long-term reliability.
This unit is housed in a sound-attenuated enclosure and mounted on a base fuel tank, making it well-suited for outdoor stationary installation. The cooling system includes a Bearward heavy-duty radiator, and the engine is supported by a comprehensive Fleetguard filtration system, Racor crankcase ventilation, and dual 24-volt Delco Remy starter motors.
The generator has been load-bank tested and maintained in excellent condition and is EPA Tier 2 certified. With its low hours, robust industrial design, and high output, this Cummins DQGAB is well-suited for data centers, utilities, mining operations, and large industrial facilities requiring dependable 1.5-megawatt-class standby power.
