Description
This 2007 Cummins DQFAD diesel generator set is a heavy-duty industrial standby power system engineered for commercial, utility, and mission-critical emergency applications. The unit is rated 1,000 kW / 1,250 kVA standby at 60 Hz, operating at 1,800 RPM, and produces 277/480V, three-phase wye power. With only 333 original operating hours, this generator represents an excellent opportunity to acquire a low-hour, megawatt-class Cummins package.
The generator is powered by the proven Cummins QST30-G5 30.6L V12 turbocharged and aftercooled diesel engine (Engine S/N: 37231786) and is paired with a Stamford PI734B1 alternator rated 1,250 kVA with Class H insulation. Controls are provided through a Cummins PowerCommand digital control panel, offering full system monitoring, diagnostics, and protective shutdowns.
This unit is built on a heavy-duty industrial base with vibration isolators and features a factory radiator-cooled configuration with guarded fan and safety mesh. The cooling package includes a Bearward Engineering radiator, and the exhaust system is equipped with InsulTech turbo and manifold blankets. The electrical system incorporates an arc-flash-rated breaker enclosure, and the package is UL 2200 listed.
Additional equipment includes a UL-listed block heater, dual 24-volt electric starters, and a comprehensive Donaldson heavy-duty filtration system. The generator has been professionally serviced and load-tested, with documented maintenance and inspection in 2023.
