1999 CAT 3508 1000kW Diesel Generator Set

This Caterpillar 3508B diesel generator set is rated 1000 kW standby (1250 kVA) at 480V, 3-phase, 60 Hz, and 1800 RPM. Powered by a robust CAT 3508B V8 diesel engine producing approximately 1,489 HP and paired with a Caterpillar SR4B alternator, this industrial-grade open skid package is built for dependable performance in demanding standby and prime power applications. The unit is equipped with a CAT EMCP II digital control panel, dual heavy-duty dry-type air cleaners, dual jacket water heaters, battery charger, fuel priming pump, and safety shutdown protection. The generator features 12-lead reconnectable output, Class H insulation, and a heavy-duty radiator cooling system. This pre-emissions, non-EPA-certified CAT 3500-series platform is known for durability, serviceability, and long operating life in critical power environments. The unit will be load tested prior to shipment and will show approximately 286 total hours at time of delivery.
